Iron Horse Cigar Depot (Hudson, NY), proud supporter of the Adaptive Sports Foundation Warriors in Motion program, hosted its annual Hudson River Boat Cruise the first weekend in August. The cruise got underway from the riverfront in Hudson and wandered up the river to Coxsackie before turning around and cruising under the Rip Van Winkle bridge and up to the Creekside Restaurant in Catskill to give them a personal thank you for a fine dinner. We were treated to the soothing sounds of jazz saxophonist Anthony Vesio and each participant was

treated to two Alec Bradley cigars. A raffle and 50/50 were held with proceeds benefitting Warriors in Motion programming for injured US servicemen and women. Iron Horse has been raising money for our Warriors in Motion programming all summer and we are grateful for their generosity. With this fundraiser, Iron Horse has raised over $6100 toward their goal of a $10,000 contribution.

On Saturday, November 4th, Iron Horse will hold their annual fall Steak and Stogies event at the Quarry Steak House in Coxsackie, NY. The evening will include two hours of hors d’oeuvres, Scotch tasting, a filet mignon dinner, multiple cigar vendors, and a 50/50 fundraiser and raffles all night. Rick Surrano 1.4.5 will be performing from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. If you love a good cigar and fine Scotch, put this one on your calendar.

Iron Horse Cigar Depot owner Roy Brown and his wife, Optometrist Nicolette Sacco-Brown, are both veterans of the armed forces and feel a strong connection to the injured men and women who participate in Warriors in Motion events. Thank you to Roy Brown and Nicky Sacco-Brown and their generous members for offering the support of the Iron Horse Cigar Depot to assist injured servicemen and women living in NY and the surrounding area on their personal paths to wellness.
